This is in reference to your application dated [DATE 1] in connection with your part-time employment as [DESIGNATION]. We are more than delighted to offer you a part-time position in our restaurant, [RESTAURANT NAME].

Upon acceptance of this letter, the following sets out the terms and conditions of employment that shall apply to your employment:

1. Upon signing this letter you have clearly understood and agreed that as a part-time employee, you will not have the privilege and status of an employee nor be entitled to the benefits set forth to those who are employed either on a regular or temporary basis. While rendering services to the restaurant, you are free to engage in other employment or other business activity as long as it does not create a conflict of interest with the restaurant.

4. As a part-time employee of the restaurant, you will not be eligible for paid vacation and sick leaves, government and company-sponsored benefits.

5. You will be held responsible for carrying out work as per the designation of the management with entire satisfaction and responsibility. You will be provided with an outline of duties and tasks
Immediately upon commencement of your employment. It will be an indication of the kinds of duties and tasks that fall within the scope of the position.

6. You must be punctual and responsible in your duties. You should not be absent without prior notice, permission or approval of the management.

7. You must not directly or indirectly disclose or use any information of and provided by the company any time, during or after the termination of employment for whatever reason.

8. You will be employed with [RESTAURANT NAME] for no specific period of time. Your employment with the restaurant will be “at-will”, meaning it depends on you or the restaurant should you or the restaurant terminate your employment any time and for whatever reason, with or without cause. The “at-will” nature of your employment will only be changed in an express written agreement signed by you and a duly authorized representative of the restaurant, though your tasks, duties, title, and compensation, also the restaurant’s personnel policies and procedures, may be modified timely. The management shall give you one week’s notice thereof should they terminate your employment. Meanwhile, should you terminate this employment, you shall render a one week period to render services before the end of employment.

9. Any other contrary document agreement or contract that has been made to you are superseded by this letter agreement. This letter agreement may not be modified or amended, except by an express written agreement signed by both you and a duly authorized representative of the company.
