[COMPANY NAME] is in need of an accounts controller who’s able to maximize financial assets by means of creating financial policies, strategies and procedures as well as controlling report systems and one who can greatly contribute in the overall control of finance and accounting operations including financial risk management procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

An accounts controller’s main function is to prepare financial forecasts and budget including variances reports. It also includes:

  • The coordination and preparation of monthly financial statements and the publication of it;
  • Supervise the accounting department and its sub-departments such as billing, cost accounting, revenue recognition, inventory accounting A/R, A/P, GL and counsel;
  • Prepare regulatory accounting;
  • Research accounting issues and prepare solutions for it;
  • Adheres to high accuracy in overall control of financial transactions and reports through the development of business processes and accounting policies to help strengthen internal control within the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have five years and up experience in finance related work experience.
  • CPA OR CMA desired
  • Has substantial years of experience in financial controlling.
  • Has an advanced degree in accounting or finance
  • Has adequate knowledge in creating accurate financial statements.
  • Has advanced knowledge in MS Office, accounting software, as well as administration skills.
